Waking up.

Who doesn’t love comfort? We find it serene and peaceful being comfortable with what we’ve achieved in life, no matter how little that may be. But then again, we also admire those who strive to get away from their comfort zones.

Being comfortable is not a bad thing. The type of comfort I’m against is the kind in which one ignores an activity that has the potential to change his or her life and catapult him to higher levels, levels that many admire.

Why am I against that type of comfort?

It makes people lazy. It prevents people from reaching their full potential. Striving to be better than you were yesterday is something that everyone should be glad to do. Risk-taking and trying one more time, stepping out of the crowd to try something new, learning about new things, concepts, and inventions, and standing up against bad leadership are just some of the few ways one can be better than he or she was yesterday.

How about you start that blog and post the things you want to share? Join a group of people who share the same passion as you, set goals and work towards achieving them, and find love, no matter how tricky that can be. Be grateful and happy with the little things in life.

Wasted opportunities are hard to recover, and I consider myself a testimony to that. Waking up and challenging yourself to do better is even harder, but once you get into the flow, stopping will be hard. And after all is said and done, it comes down to one major fact—the fact ignored by many but the most important: your mindset and attitude towards life.
